How to import profile cutting speeds

How to import cut speed for profile cutting

 

Navigate to System > Import

You require admin rights to perform this operation. We strongly recommend that you have sufficient knowledge to perform this operation as improper usage can corrupt your data. Please view the attached export.csv for a sample on how your import file should be formatted.

Import Criteria

Select "CutSpeed" from the drop-down of Business Objects. Select " Choose File" to browse your computer hard disk for the import file. Select Create Record if not found. Press Import.

Confirmation of Import

If you receive the message above then the import was successful. Otherwise, the error will suggest what is wrong with the import file you used. Please refer to the sample file provided.

Log Confirmation

Here you can view a summary of what imports were executed.

List Cutspeeds

Navigate to Setup>Process Settings>List CutSpeeds to view a list of all the imported cut speeds. You will notice that the recently imported speeds do not have a Process Name. Select edit and enter the form View.

Re-save all imported cut speeds

Select the Process Name that belongs to this newly imported cut speeds and then Press SAVE. From the top right navigate to the next record in the list and repeat step 1 and 2. Repeat until all imported speeds are registered.
